Gold Plated Jewelry:
To keep your piece beautiful and shiny for longer avoid contact with chemicals and intense perspiration. It is not recommended to bathe with your piece, nor to use it in the sea or pool!
Remember: the oxidation of your gold plated jewelry is a natural process, the observation of the care mentioned above is essential to extend the useful life of your piece.
When you apply perfume, moisturizer, 70% alcohol or other chemical product to the skin, wait for it to dry completely to dress your piece.
If you wet your gold plated jewelry, use a dry flannel to remove the excess and let it dry naturally in the shade.

Sterling Silver jewelry (gold vermeil):
925 sterling silver jewelry is more resistant and can come into contact with water. However, care should also be taken with chemicals and sweat because these components can lead to loss of shine or oxidation of the piece.
It is important to store your parts separately, thus avoiding friction between them.

Zirconias are laboratory-produced gems in an ethical and sustainable way that simulate natural diamond in its aspects such as brightness, color, resistance and durability.
The zirconias used in Calla's pieces are carefully selected, to bring the most intense shine that makes your jewelry irresistible! For this, we only work with superior quality zirconias, AAA classification.
Fusion stones are the union between natural stones and noble crystals. They have a translucent appearance, showing delicate branches inside the gem. These small "cuts", called internal veins, guarantee a cracked effect.
This stone is made from techniques developed in the laboratory. The fusion process carried out to produce it happens from the joining of fragments or powder of natural stones and luxurious crystals. In this way, it is possible to check an aspect very similar to true gems, which makes the fusion stone the gem with the appearance that most resembles precious stones.

At Calla we believe that the true beauty of a jewel is in its quality and durability. That's why we work with noble metals, ensuring sophisticated pieces made to last.
Currently, almost 95% of our jewelry is produced in 925 sterling silver, with rhodium or 18k gold vermeil for greater protection and shine. Our goal is to achieve 100% silver production, making Calla a brand exclusively focused on this noble metal.
To preserve the brightness and resistance of the pieces, we apply high durability vermeil, which provide a sophisticated finish and more protection over time. The rhodium vermeil protects against oxidation and gives an intense shine, while the 18k gold vermeil provides the elegant golden tone, keeping the jewelry beautiful for much longer.
We still have a few pieces (gold plated) in metal alloy of excellent quality, carefully selected to maintain our high standard. However, we are in a transition so that all our jewelry is all made of silver.
